It was supposed to be the party of the year. Costumes, music, laughter-Soobin's Halloween masquerade had it all. But when the lights flicker out at midnight, the night takes a deadly turn. Soobin is found dead, and the mansion locks itself tight.
A voice announces the rules: play the game, or die trying.
Those who try to escape don't make it far.
Now Ateez, along with friends and classmates, are trapped inside a living nightmare. Every riddle, every masked secret, and every betrayal brings them closer to the truth... but also closer to death. Because in this twisted game, there's only one way out.

It is called Midnight Game. None of them knew how it got there; nobody is allowed in their resting room other than them. The instructions say that you should play at your own risk, so they decide to throw it away. However, Jin, who found that game and claimed that he would throw it out, decided to keep it thinking he might need it someday. Shortly after, the day they would be playing it arrived: at Jin's halloween party. All of their year level was invited and the boys quickly became drunk.
