Lizzie's bare feet padded against the pavement, her hair stuck to her face, and it felt like a thick layer of grime encased her entire body- but it wasn't grime. It wasn't dirt.

Sirens blared, red and blue flashing lights overwhelmed her senses and one split second changed Lizzie's fate forever- she tripped and fell face first into the hard concrete sidewalk, splitting open her head, causing bright red blood to pool over the partially dried red and brown blood.

Pre- Twilight and through the series, but extreme changes will be made.
