Book Four in the "Starforged Sagas" series of tales.
In a world much like our own, a single cosmic event will shape the lives of billions and the destinies of thousands. Civilization will never be the same again. In a world of civil unrest, unconscionable warfare, economic strife, and political posturing, the legacy of a people thought extinct will echo into the modern world.
Alexander Curry, "Xander" to his family and friends, is a humble man who lives for life on the ocean. Growing up in Key West, FL, his father dragged him aboard just about every boat in the harbor. His mother having succumbed to an illness when he was only eight, he only knew life with his dad. Being a "half-breed" didn't make anything a picnic. His father is the typical Florida man with European heritage. His mother was Puerto Rican and Taino. Xander saw his share of dirty looks and mistrust around the harbor and the town. When the mysterious energy hits Earth, Xander's world is turned upside down and he faces an entirely new avenue of discrimination. Having enough, he sets sail in his personal vessel to find answers, himself, and perhaps the wisdom of his ancestors.

Just Let Me Sleep
Xander had always been a bright kid almost frightening so and he'd probably be able to rule in whatever job department he choose but there was a slight set back... he was almost helplessly listless and tried to do everything in the most quickest least energy and time consuming way and while that has its plus sides it also has its downs . He didn't really do anything other than sleep work nap eat and sometimes go for a walk all that knew him couldn't help but look after him because they worried he'd likely fall in a ditch somewhere if they took their eyes off him fir a second so with people doting on him he couldn't help but become even more listless . One day a person who was looking after Xander for a while because the boy almost fell into the street on the way home from dozing off gave him a novel to read called "to love and to be loved" it was a cheesy cliche romance novel but Xander found himself reading it till the end . After finishing the book and using it as a pillow to sleep on he found himself waking up as the "mini villain" in the story who died not even 60 pages in but coincidentally had the same name as him . He didn't care tho as long as he could sleep and work with this new worlds magic he wouldn't mind but how come the villain and a few other characters that supposed to hate him suddenly doting on him ? This is a story of a happily married Chris, and his loving wife Meredith. Chris and Meredith enjoy their life together. Both have well paying jobs, a big house, plenty of good friends, and a healthy, loving marriage. That all changes however, upon a getaway to Florida, when Chris is transformed into a 13-year old girl. Now a girl, she discovers the challenges of being a young teenage girl, and learns to embrace her new identity. This is a full length novel that I've been working on for a while. It's been somewhat of a passion project of mine, and I've poured my heart and soul into it. I would love to hear your feedback. (Story written in 1st person, present tense) Where the strong currents of the Reef lead Ao'nung to the jungles, and there he meets an Omatikayan boy willing to help him get back home. *** Upon one of the usual father and son quarrels, Ao'nung decides he's had enough, and so he flees his home, beyond the reefs--the last place he's allowed to go to, or any water Na'vi for that matter. It's a forbidden place. A no-go zone. It was supposed to be a break to clear his head, far from home, but not too far. He was supposed to return. But within hours he's swept away in the strong currents and ends up somewhere he does not know of. The jungles. He wants to cry and plead forgiveness for his hard-headed choices, but soon an Omatikayan boy stumbles upon him and is ready to kill him. Ao'nung has spent too much time away from home and grows helpless. Fortunately, the Omatikayan boy has a change of heart and decides to help him and takes care of him in the meantime. Unfortunately, something called "love" forms between the two boys of completely different lifestyles and separate clans. Ao'nung is torn.
