Ravenpaw is broken. His life is filled with pain and misery because of his strange appearance, and all he feels is hatred towards himself and his tormentors. His only goal? Revenge.

Runepaw is angry. After watching her mother, father, and brother die at the paws of her mother's sister, she wants nothing more than to avenge her dead family... in blood.

Dragonheart is confused. He remembers everything about his life, except for the time he fell off a cliff. The last thing he remembers before falling is a white tail...

Frostleaf is sad. Her father died a few moons ago, and her friend died in childbirth, and she feels a hole of regret that as a medicine cat she couldn't save her or her kits. That is, until she discovers a terrifying secret that her friend's death may have been murder...and the killer isn't stopping.

Long after the time of Firestar, countless seasons after the battles with the Dark Forest and all the villains of old, whose names are now passed down in tales of warriors from long before, a new story is told. All four of these cats are from different clans. All four of them have different, unique abilities. And all four of them have their lifetime of memories, grievances and pain. And as unlikely as it seems, their paths will connect and intertwine into an epic tale that will be told for generations to come.
