I feel him freeze beside me, my heart skyrockets. This is an unfamiliar feeling, but it still feels like home.

My gaze is still on the window when I feel a soft touch on my finger, on my pinky. I feel his pinky entwine with mine in a slow, gentle and deliberate manner. My toes curl at the contact.
