He stopped to look over himself in the mirror. His hair was still dripping and he had a couple bruises littering his face. Tommy also took note of the small scrape at the bottom left side of his jaw. He definitely looked like he'd gotten into another fight. His family was definitely going to be worried about that, he might even get a scolding from his dad about fighting. He was not looking forward to that tonight.
He sighed as he approached the door. Slowly turning the knob and pushing it open. Whatever he was expecting to find at eight something at night, it wasn't this. In front of him sat his brother in a wooden dining chair, with a few drops of blood on his yellow sweater, holding a handful of tissues to his nose. His father stood in front of him, ice pack in hand, black wings bristled from worry. They only seemed to stand up more as the older man looked over Tommy.
"What the hell happened to you?"

No one knows where they came from or why, but humanity wanted to know as much as possible about them and not for good reasons. One day, 8 year old Tommy had a sudden fever and his mother, not being able to find a babysitter or take off work, takes him with her. Inspired by Ghosty Bois Inc. by @/ThisPerson00 and @/WolfyTheWitch on Twitter or The Channel Without A Name on yt, but I added my own twist. Tommy and Tubbo are ghosts, but I changed the fundamentals of it, they aren't dead, they have some ghostly powers and rules, and they can switch back and forth, living to ghost. Also, I'm going to add characters as we go along so any ghost can add anyone they would like, similar to how the Dream SMP adds new members. tw // mentions of death, character death, sleep, headaches, flashing images cover art NOT done by me Everything is /p, no shipping creators or weird shit. Tubbo jerked away, but Tommy had a grip of the phone, making the skirmish a game of tug of war. "You idiots," muttered Wilbur, watching the phone fly back and forth across the desk while spectating from his bed. Tommy wasn't quick to give up, but after holding Tubbo's menacing glare, Tommy gave up and let go. "Fine. I want a turn afterwards." A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. A searing pain fills his body, worse than any beatings or stabbings he'd ever had. He feels his blood being drained and tries to scream but nothing comes out apart from a small quiet gasp.
