When Rachel Sloan decided to be a firefighter it was definitely a shock to a lot of Rachel's family. Growing up in a family full of doctors most expected her to do the same. Her father was known for being a world class plastic surgeon. After all, he was the Mark Sloan. Her mother Ariana was a neurosurgeon who was damn good at her job. Rachel grew up with her cousin Noah Shepherd since her dad was best friends with his parents.
