On Halloween night in 1981, 16-year-old Amelia Potter lost her beloved brother James and sister-in-law Lily at the hands of Lord Voldemort. After escaping a Death Eater attack on her hideout with unexpected help from Severus Snape, she rushed to her brother's house to rescue her nephew after learning of the plan to take him to his mother's sister to ensure that his parents' last wish that Harry grow up with Amelia would be fulfilled. In the years that followed, Amelia had to face great challenges and stand up to those who believed she was unfit to raise Harry.
