Message from me: Hello! Thank you for your interest in reading my work, hehe. I got inspiration to write this by playing a game called Crusader Kings III. I have a habit of not uploading for days, and just upload the parts in bulk when I do upload. I write in my phone's notes app. I like to read what I wrote again and again to make sure the story doesn't get lost, and most importantly - not to make myself confused, haha. Jayden was never meant to be a prince, but when he gets adopted by the king and queen, he has to prepare himself for the challenges ahead. Luckily, his personal knight, Kam, is there to help him out. Together, they will have to deal with mages, fight dragons, and face windigos. Follow them as they learn more about each other, and learn to look past their deferences to accomplish their goals and save the kingdom. Warning: this is not for kids or people sensitive to triggers. I tend to write on the dark side, just so you know. There will be no smut, but there will be mentions of sex, abuse, abandonment, a little bit of swearing and this list could be updated as the story goes on. I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it. DISCONTINUED Harry wasn't what anybody expected. Well, that's not exactly true, in fact he acted exactly as expected in front of them. He'd been left with the Dursleys, and had spent nine long years basically as their slave, not even knowing his name. See, Evan had been the Boy Who Lived, supposedly having defeated Voldemort as a baby, and it would have been wrong to send the Potter's other son into an environment where jealousy would foster, after all, he was just so ordinary. . . So ordinary that no one knew he owned the club Nighthowlers and Orchids or that he had enough power to single-handedly bring about the end of the world as they knew it. No one even knew what he looked like, not truly. Many characters are property of J K Rowling, some story elements are kinda based off of some trends, but it was written by me. There will be some very triggering content, please do not report. Also, I know I suck at writing descriptions, so please don't kill me. This moves at kind of a slow pace and has a lot of details, the sexual interactions, will not happen for quite a while and are not the main point of the story. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty.
