AUTHOR NOTE: to/for my older sister who gave me this idea in the first place
Years later Jareth-in his owl form- looks for Sarah only to find out she's happily married with kids of her own. This hurts Jareth deeply, but he realizes that he has to move on for the sake of his promise to his grandfather.
He flys back to the Goblin Kingdom and ponders on how he will find someone to marry in 2 months, since that was his grandfather's (soon to be) dying wish.
He made a promise he would be married before his grandfather's death, but he had plans how to do this.
He throws masqeruades and hosts events, but can't find the right person fit for a queen.
One night after a masqeruade, Jareth is in his throne room, hears a wish made, he smirks and sits up straighter.
