After Muzan's defeat, Giyu awakens in the Butterfly Mansion scarred and burdened with survivor's guilt. He receives a letter entrusted to him by Shinobu.
But one quiet night, with the weight of her letter in his hands, Giyu finds himself wishing desperately. What if he could change it all? What if he could trade his life for hers and the others?
When fate grants him an impossible second chance, Giyu is thrown back into the past, carrying the memories of the corps' downfall and Shinobu's final words.
Now, with time flowing anew, Giyu decides to change the outcome of the war.
