(Philomena) (A cool chilly breeze is blowing) (Sounds of animals in the forest echoes) It's a chilly late afternoon, and I can hear the leaves rustling in the trees and the crickets chirping. I can also see birds flying high in the sky in search of a place to spend their night. As darkness draws near, the Northern sunset reflects the shadows of the massive trees in the forest. As I stood at the border wall separating our small town from the forest I felt those piercing stares watching me again just like 'that night'. As in trance, one step is all it took for me to cross the line. As I get closer to the entrance of the forest of shadows, there is an unsettling silence that makes my skin tingle. Suddenly, I hear a bone-chilling shriek from a distance which causes me to stop. At this point I should turn back but my curiosity gets the best of me. As my feet leads me to the forest one thing is clear: I'm slowly entering the very forest that my mother forbade me from when I was young. What awaits me inside the forest? What being dwells within it? Why am I drown to it? What are the shadows I saw the night my mother disappeared? Will I still be able to get out alive? ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• What awaits Philomena inside the forest? Are the shadows her allies or enemies? What is the connection of the shadows to her mother's disappearance? What is it's connection to her?

"SUMMER CAMP IS OVER, BUT HUNTING SEASON HAS JUST BEGUN" Thirteen years ago, a malevolent monster infiltrated minds, poisoning memories and corrupting happiness. Now, it returns with friends, plunging the small town of Woodbury into chaos. Isolation becomes survival as twisted nightmares stalk the streets. Lock doors, bar windows, and prepare to fight. Death is the only escape, but killing may be the key. Seven teenagers search for a lost outcast, unaware that their only hope lies with unlikely allies: an escaped convict, a private detective, and the enigmatic Whisperers of Wolfe Kreek. As the hunt intensifies, the Whisperers' cryptic warnings echo through the forest. "Heed the warnings of the Whisperers of Wolfe Kreek," they say, "and you'll pay the price, die twice." The clock ticks down, and the fate of Woodbury hangs in the balance. Prey and predator are not predetermined roles; they are choices. As the darkness closes in, the teens must confront their inner monsters. Will they become predators, embracing the primal urge to kill, or cling to their humanity in the face of unspeakable horrors? "This is a homage to a great many classic or modern horror movies I've seen, minor references, and this is my first ever book I've ever written, which took me 7 years. Now I can publish it, and I hope this gets the love it deserves." WARNING: VIEWER'S DESCESTION IS ADVISED. THIS IS FOR MATURE AUDIENCES. Everything happens for a reason, and nothing happens without explanation, though it might take until the next chapter to fully understand something.)
