Black dots danced across my vision as I sank to my knees on the worn floor of the plane. The last thing I saw before unconsciousness claimed me was a man dressed in pilot's uniform emerging from the right entrance to the plane's fuselage...All Rights Reserved

"If...if I ever went bad, promise me youll protect he flock...from me" His eyes grew. "I-I promise..." "Thank you" my voice cracked. "And you'll be the leader?" "Sure" his face looked concerned. "I just can't see it" I took a deep breath. "Me neither, but whatever happens" he arose and knelt down beside me. "We'll be fine" he pecked my forehead and walked out.

All of the thugs layed on the floor unconcious. I did it! The hostages stood there, staring at me in shock. News helicopters flew around the building. I walked to the shattered window I entered. The cops were below, just entering the building to rescue the hostages. "Thank you" I heard one of the hostages say. I turned around to see an older woman. "What is your name?" she asked. I couldn't tell her my real name. I was just an 18 year old girl trying to finish high school. I never expected any of this. I knew that the powers I had were a blessing. A blessing that needed to be protected. I looked to see her waiting for my response. I said the first name that came to my mind. "My name is Atomic Woman " I dove out the ten story building before she could say anything. Just like that, a hero was born.

I was really glad when I managed to get my katanas trough airport security too. I might have some time to practice. the weird sensation of someone following you snapped you back to reality. when you saw that no on was behind you calmed down and went back to planning how to not make the summer suck but for the rest of the day, you knew, someone was definitely following you.
