After seven years in a coma-like state caused by a battle with a powerful daemon, the Radio Demon, Alastor, awakens to a world that has moved on without him. His body bears the lasting marks of the fight, leaving him vulnerable and reliant on his devoted partner, Lucifer, who saved him from death and now watches over him with unwavering protection.
Determined to reclaim his place in the infernal hierarchy, Alastor begins reviving his hotel project, carefully planning his return despite lingering injuries. Upon death he enters Purgatory, but then ascends through the forgiveness of one in heaven and one on earth. He resides in Heaven with his mother, until he unknowingly makes contact with evil itself. She couldn't be more thankful with them and her girlfriend, Vaggie. Husk, Angel, Cherri Bomb, Niffty and Alastor have all been with her since the beginning... Nearly the beginning. Angel was originally staying due to the fact it was rent-free, but when Alastor came along, so did Husk and Niffty. Charlie's dream was to redeem souls so they do not have to suffer in Hell and be up in Heaven, thinking they can change their ways. This works with Sir Pentious who sadly died during the last extermination. This is where the story begins. The newly created Hazbin Hotel was standing there in all its glory as Lucifer looks at it from outside. However, he spots small patches of blood on the floor and goes to follow.
