They had an agreement that for Jason's sake, she'd keep her distance. But when he dies a few weeks short of his sixteenth birthday, it becomes her biggest regret. So, what if he'd had a crush on her? She shouldn't have ever set foot in Gotham again, but Bruce was going down a dark path, and they both needed Joker to pay for what he did. The clown remains elusive, and she can't deny that Bruce's violence is rubbing off on her. When they finally catch him, things don't end well for any of them, and she's driven further than Bludhaven in search of herself. It starts as a cover, a cathartic act to help her work through her emotions, but her pain runs deeper, and the only relief she finds is in another young mercenary, who has almost as much as her to hide, and a similar taste in red.

Nightwing x Red Hood (Jaydick) AU Completed! Dick lost his best friend to the Joker. He wanted to avenge Jason but Batman wouldn't let him kill. After 5 years, Nightwing meets the Red Hood and sees him as the vigilante who's willing to kill the Joker. While Batman hunts him down, Nightwing hooks up with him. He knew it was wrong but he couldn't help it. He was hot even if he didn't know who was under the Red Hood. Jason was all alone for 5 years. He needed to become someone else: Red Hood. He comes back to Gotham, running street gangs. His goal is to kill the Joker, the person who ended his previous life. But he finds that difficult when he meets Nightwing, someone working with his old mentor, Batman. He may not know who Nightwing is but that doesn't stop him from fucking him. Will Red Hood stop the Joker and get peace after 5 years? Red Hood doesn't know the identity of Nightwing and vice versa. ( I thought it'd be cool if they didn't know :) ). I tried to keep personalities of the characters like they normally are. It's written in the perspective of both Dick and Jason but it's third person. I use Red Hood and Nightwing in the other's perspective since they don't know each other. I'm a bad writer so be warned ;) Also I don't own the art. Hope you enjoy it! His life slides into further turmoil after the sudden death of his longtime butler and confidant Alfred Pennyworth. Then, just when Bruce finally gets his life back on track with the help of former Catwoman Selina Kyle, he is forced to face an old and deadly foe Bane when he kidnaps Dick's wife and former Batgirl Barbara Gordon and their baby daughter Jane Marie. Armed with an armored Batsuit he created in case Superman ever went rogue called The Hellbat, Bruce Wayne goes into battle one last time as Batman to try to save those he cares about. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Given all the hoopla surrounding the movie Batman v. Superman, I wanted to write my own Batman and/or Superman story. After coming up with different scenarios for my story, including my own version of Batman v. Superman (which I still might write later on), I finally decided on this one (for now at least). I wanted to go beyond the controversial The Killing Joke-where The Joker shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Batgirl-and Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns that show a blatantly darker side of BM. Of course, it will be up to the individual reader if I succeeded or not.Complete
