As the Battle of Ginza broke out in Japan, a "Gate" also appeared in Nanjing, the capital of the reborn Republic of China. 100,000 Imperial troops launched the "Battle of Jiangning"
With the cooperation of Nanjing police and 20,000 national army troops, the war ended in 7 hours
The war resulted in the deaths and disappearances of a large number of police and civilians (6,000 in total), including citizens from Europe, North America and Southeast Asia
Only three years after the war with the PRC ended, the ROC was once again shrouded in the shadow of war
The ROC MND has formed an "Special Territory Group Army"
With the goal of "capturing war criminals" and "ending the war", the war between ROC and the Empire begins
Although the Republic of China actively engaged with Japan, hoping to cooperate with it in the war, Japan's attitude was ambiguous - cooperation was only superficial, which seemed to suggest that Tokyo and Nanjing hoped that the outcome of the war would be different.
