Suddenly, Taehyung spread his wings, standing against the big window, moonlight casting him in silver, and drew her fully into the warmth of his wings, pulling her gently toward him. Yet his arms remained crossed, a quiet, teasing barrier.

Her chest fluttered as the space between them vanished.

He looked down at her, calm and unreadable, and murmured, "But... I would like it if you... came closer."
