From the Academy to the Time War, the Professor and the Doctor have been through thick and thin from the Master to the Valeyard. And despite their efforts, the time war didn't end the way they hoped and wished. The Doctor activates the moment and flees with the Professor, seeking refuge on the world he's loved for centuries, Earth. The Professor's experience with the world has not always been good and neither have entirely accepted their actions during the war. However, in an incident with some revenge-seeking autons, the two time lords meet a young woman named Rose Tyler. And she will change a lot for them, especially the Professor who just can't seem to connect with anything around her but her old friend.
