Even Evil Vampires Get The Blues

Based on "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals". Tristan is an "elder" vampire who lives in Seattle with his mortal lover Isolde, and his little "brothers" that he sired. Fabi he saved from a vampire in Britain, Claude was rescued during Napoleon's disastrous retreat from Moscow. Steven he rescued from an alley in the University District in Seattle after he was viciously attacked.

Steven has only been with them for a year, but he has fit in quite well with the family. He is good company for Isolde, they share a love of art and Isolde has become a successful art dealer. The other two boys are much older than Steven,, but they get along well.

Lately things have been different. They have heard rumors about a werewolf-hybrid cross named Klaus who claims to be the "original" vampire. Tristan takes umbrage at this, and even worse, the way Klaus conducts himself gives vampires a bad name.

Tristan has had enough of this. He decides to take his family to New Orleans and see for himself what Klaus is up to. On the way he plans to pick up some vampires who live in a little town called Mystic Falls who claim to know about Klaus.

He has not yet formed a plan, but he has the start of one. And besides, it's been a long time since he's been to New Orleans. It's time he sees for himself what is going on.
