The last lesson

prologue -

I saw her for the first time, and something inside me snapped.
I should have walked away. I should have kept my distance. But I didn't.

Instead, I tried to force myself into her life. Into her world. Into her body.
Why? Because I was terrified... terrified that if I hesitated, she would slip away from me forever.

I failed to confess the truth-that I wanted her, needed her, loved her. My silence turned into cruelty. My fear twisted into anger. And what should have been love... became a nightmare.

Yes, I was worse.
For her, I was the monster hiding in plain sight.
I ruined her days, stole her smiles, and left scars where I should have given comfort.

But none of that can erase one truth.
That somewhere along the line... her innocence changed me.
Her defiance, her tears, her strength-they carved me open until there was nothing left but the raw, desperate love I could no longer deny.

This is my confession.
My crime.
And perhaps... my last lesson.
