The Oath of the Last Keeper
In a world where human and animal coexistence reigned, Nyra, marked as the guardian of the forest, stood watch over the delicate balance that had sustained life for centuries. However, as humanity's greed escalated, chaos ensued, pushing Nyra to make the heart-wrenching decision to seal the forest, forsaking human entry to preserve its sanctity. While her initial pact with a few families held strong for generations, memories faded over time, leading to a legacy of myths surrounding the cursed forest. One day, Jonas, an unsuspecting human, stumbled into this realm and, against her judgment, Nyra allowed him to pass. His escape sparked a resurgence of human curiosity that soon morphed into a destructive wave, prompting Nyra's subjects to challenge her decisions. Faced with the consequences of her mercy, she gathered the creatures of the forest to unleash wrath upon the intruders, ensuring no human would leave alive again. The chaotic sounds of the forest surged as Nyra stood resolute. With tension rising, the whispers of the past echoed through the trees, signaling a reckoning that would unearth forgotten truths embedded within the heart of the woods. Both an exploration of trust broken and the destructive nature of humanity, the tale illustrates the struggle between obligation and belief, where once-sacred peace hangs by a fragile thread.Complete![Spirit Animals - The Ten Keepers: The Lost Talisman of Ursala [Book Two]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/80155223-256-k31694.jpg)
