When Christine wakes in a fae prison, she doesn't expect salvation. And she certainly doesn't expect family. Rescued by strangers who claim to share her blood, Christine is taken to Brighton, a glittering estate that promises healing, heritage, and answers.
As Christine is pulled deeper into a strange world of magical bloodlines and rigid expectations, she begins to question whether her new family's intentions are as noble as they claim. And when haunting memories resurface, alongside visions of the man who betrayed her, Christine realizes the danger is far from over.
The deeper Christine digs into her past, the more twisted her reality becomes. And when the line between vengeance and fate begins to blur, she must decide if uncovering the truth is worth everything it might destroy.
UPDATES EVERY FRIDAY.
Violet Schultz has been alone since her parents died a couple of years ago. And she likes it that way... At least, she did. After driving around the country for a long time, she is finally ready to find a place she can call home and settle down. While searching, she didn't plan to meet Kincaid Miller, who saves her in the middle of a bad snow storm.
Kincaid Miller was taught to be alone. His father liked it that way, so did he. He never wanted more, until Violet. She brings back everything he hadn't thought about in years. Stuck in his cabin together during a blizzard, he doesn't know how he's going to make it through the same when she is... everything.
The snow will start melting at some point, though. Sunshine has never been such a curse.
