In the city of Luna in Canada, where the mundane and the magical share the same streets, Viola Fay runs her small bookstore, The Dodo, and prefers ink, tea, her familiar Puck and staying in the background of the Fable community. As the city's only witch she keeps her head low and her friends Izzy, a Kelpie, and Charlie, a Mundy, close. But when a dryad's murder sparks whispers-Viola's carefully warded life begins to unravel.
