Jacqueline "Jackie" Silvestri-Lin is a 17 year old trans girl, trying to make the most of her senior year. Living in an Italian Jewish Taiwanese household felt like a lot sometimes, but she was used to it. This year, she's standing up for herself- she isn't Jack or JJ anymore. Just Jackie. Her best friend Elaire Johnson is the support she needs when she feels like it's too much sometimes. And her crush on the football team... Luke MacQuoid. He's not aware of her feelings yet, and she doesn't even know if he feels the same way back. After all, Luke's always seen her as one of his "guy friends."
