I've been on the run for three years. I'm not the first, but I certainly won't be the last. For as long as I can remember, I had been experimented on, drugged to the brink of insanity, and tortured by someone I thought was my family. Boy, was I wrong. This isn't one of those stories where I suddenly get a huge boost of courage and defeat the bad guys then live happily ever after. I don't believe in that stuff anymore. Instead, I was a coward, and ran for my life, for my freedom, because I was too afraid to stand and fight and risk losing control like the monster they had created me to be. The S.U.N. and The Peter Pan Project or the day I woke up in somebody else's bed... My name is Maya, I'm seventeen and I've grown up with my brothers on the Atlantic Coast in the South West of France. Nothing seemed unusual last night when I went to bed. I held my hand above my eyes, trying to survey in the back of the wild audience. Everyone was watching me. Everyone. Thousands of eyes laid on me with their mouths opening and screaming at me. "Eric! Hey Eric over here!" I tuned them out as I tried harder to look for him. I wanted to see it. I wanted to see his eyes filled with hatred. But I look back to see him with his arms crossed. The "new " Warden is what they call him. I can't believe that hell- hole of a town still exists. I look at him with disgust only to find him pull a smirk on the side of his face. I laid my hand down and look at the hundreds of people waving their hands to get my attention. "Eric! Sir please one question!" A lady screamed above everyone else in front of me. I look down to see the woman waving her arm wildly. "Sir what really happened to her? Was she left there? Why did you let this happen?" I raise my hand to her, telling her to stop. This story is about Our friend group and how they had such a weird adventure from taking a lot of drugs. Which made them think that it was a zombie apocalypse and that the world was ending. Till you realize that there just high out of there damn minds. Warning: There will be a lot of un settling words and scenes within this story. So pls be advise if your not into those things we suggest you don't read at all but, "Read at your own risk". We prefer that 13 to 19+ will be able to read but like I said pervious, read at your own risk if you wish. I blinked. My eyes began focusing on shapes. I could hear murmuring voices. I could smell medication. I could taste blood. I could feel scratchy blankets lying over my frail body. Three humans, talking under their breaths. A blue cast on my leg. Another on my arm. Stitches in my other 'leg'. More stitches on my face neck and chest. A huge stapled gash across my entire stomach, starting from my shoulder and going in a diagonal line straight across my body and ending at my hip bone. It had just avoided my heart. Tubes were threaded through my arms and other areas of my stomach. I was suddenly very aware of the amount of pain I was in. I cried out in pain and all three people turned to me. The middle one lurched forwards and took a needle from the side. The other two fussed around me, rethreading the tubes and checking that they were all fully functional. A sharp, aching pain pierced my neck and I caught the middle guy with a needle in my neck. My vision slowly began blurring again.Concluida
