I looked him in the eye. "I'm sorry, but we just wouldn't work," I felt tears pricking in the corners of my eyes. "Why can't you see that I'm willing to do everything for you? Why can't you see that I love you?" His warm brown eyes turned dark. I could understand his frustration, but I just couldn't allow myself to fall in love again. Moving here was a new start. Not another chance for me to screw up my life. "I'm sorry Cal," I whispered quietly "I'm so sorry," Katelyn moved to from Chicago to Sydney to get away from her old life. To get away from all of the mistakes and all of the bad things that happened last summer. Soon she realises that she can't outrun her past, and it's caching up to her faster than she could have ever imagined. She meets a nice guy who is willing to help her, but he knows nothing about her past. Is Kate ready to let go of her past and move on with her future? Or will she break under the pressure?
