Unforgettable Past

After another failed mission, a handful of unnecessary casualties, and non-stop shitty attitude, The metahuman Elvira Alekhine aka the anti-hero Aris was sent back to Evergreen, Washington as a punishment. In hope of sorting her out, she was sent to work with task force X in stopping an alien invasion taking over the planet.

Unfortunately for her, she runs into a bit of a problem. and her running into countless problems while on missions was the whole reason she was sent there in the first place.

The said problem that she runs into is an unforgettable part of her past. A part of her that she can never forget no matter how much she wishes that she didn't still care about. That part of her being A boy. A boy who's heart she broke to make leaving for her previous mission easier. A mission she wasn't supposed to come back from.

Now here she is, four years later back in Evergreen, supposedly back from the dead, staring down the boy she loved oh so dearly as he stares back at her like she murdered his best friend. A part of him wishing she had stayed gone, while a bigger part of him was.. happy?
