Some love stories are written in the stars, destined to endure the tests of time. But what happens when love is replaced by betrayal? When the person who was once your home becomes the storm that shatters you? Aadvik Chauhan and Dr. Dhriti Sharma were once inseparable-two souls intertwined in a love so deep that nothing could tear them apart. Childhood sweethearts turned lovers, they had built their world together, dreaming of a future filled with love, laughter, and forever. But forever never came. Three years ago, Dhriti walked away. She left without a word, without a trace, shattering him into pieces. He searched for her, bled for her, but she was gone. And when he finally rebuilt himself, it was as a man far different from the one she had loved-a man of steel, ruthless and unforgiving. But secrets have a way of surfacing. When Dhriti returns, she isn't alone. She carries with her a truth that has the power to destroy Aadvik all over again-a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter he never knew existed. A daughter she kept from him. A daughter who should have been his world. Now, the past collides with the present, reopening old wounds and igniting a storm of rage, heartbreak, and longing. Aadvik, betrayed once again, vows not to let Dhriti shatter him this time. But Dhriti is no longer the woman who once left because she was scared-she's a mother willing to fight for her child, even if it means facing the man she still loves but once abandoned. Love, pain, revenge, and redemption-when two broken hearts clash, will they destroy each other, or will they find a way back? Some stories don't get second chances. But maybe, just maybe, theirs does. TROPES :- ~ GRRUMPY x SUNSHINE ~ SECOND CHANCE ~ SINGLE PARENT ~ TRAUMA/HEALING ~ LOVE TO HATE TO LOVE ~ SECRETS ~ CHILDHOOD SWEETHEARTS ~ FAMILY RIVALRY

It's 1917 in the tiny town of Cobbingham, England. Rowena Griffinson turns 18 tonight. And all 17 years of her disappointing life have been spent in the Griffinson Manor, up until now. No friends. No freedom. No love. At least not from her father, Mr. Merle Griffinson, current owner of the manor, not to mention emotionless and distant. Rowena and Mr. Griffinson rarely speak, until a fight on the night of her 18th birthday where things take a turn for the worse. After their big blowoutRowena runs into (LITERALLY runs into) a boy her age who also seems to be in trouble... Each with their own issues, they decide to leave together for the next boat out of town. Albeit certainly with no lack of quarrels...The boy is very guarded, but Rowena is clingy and just as stubborn. But Rowena has another problem not even she is aware of. As each night passes, something takes over Rowena, causing an unconsciousness during the night... Whatever it is, it could consume her if she doesn't do something about it. What secrets lie beyond the manor for Rowena? And what secrets lie beneath Shimmer Lake? *This is a work of fiction, all people, places and events are purely fictional. That being said, please enjoy SHIMMER LAKE! 😽* COVER AND STORY PROUDLY MADE WITHOUT AI ❤️
