The Druggies and the Nerds

Merlock, a pre-adult girl at the age twenty of lives a normal life full of pain, self-harm, abuse, drugs, alcohol and friend problems...what that isn't normal? Well for her it is. She tries repeatedly to break out of this sequence but always seems to fail, but what would happen if she met Emily, a happy nerd with a lot of free time? Will Merlock ever break out of her invisible chains?
