The darkness is beautiful

They stalk me. I am chased.
I gamble my soul.
The fallen have taken my spirit, leaving my soul alone.
The tales whom I speak to you are of the fallen. They have wished to take our salvation of the Lord for many a year.
My emotions crumble to dust at the slightest hint of anger.
They may succeed. But I am without hope.
So I tell the tales of the Forsaken. Those who are not with God.

This, of course, is a piece of fiction.
The events are fake. But the emotions felt sure aren't.
