Healers are mostly known for their supportive role, providing aid to the "real heroes". I wanted to write a story where the healer was the hero.

The idea mostly started when my husband told me I'd be a healer if D&D classes reflected reality. My first reaction was "wow, what the heck", like that was something to be offended by. I mean, he's not wrong. I am kind of a hippie and what's more hippie than a healer--but I don't play second fiddle to anyone!

So, I wanted to change the healer's reputation and give them a moment to shine. Healers can be the cool ones, too! Although mine's a little traumatized... ha..haha...ha... I'm so sorry, Marcy.

Anyways, here's a brief synopsis:

A darkness appears in the kingdom of Illari, causing chaos and heartache for many of its people.

Marcy Cutler, a healer, has learned to keep her head down to survive in a time when healers are not welcome. When she meets Penryn Dreki, a bounty hunter, he brings out a side of her she's long forgotten: the side that's stubborn, bold, and will do anything for a loved one.

As they learn more about the suffering of those around them, they grow more determined to make a stand. Can they save their land and themselves from sinking into the darkness?

It was her, his mate. Except she was full human and he was born a wolf. Elle is drawn to him, unable to stop herself from sitting beside the rugged man at the end of the bar, ignoring all the looks from the other men. Not realising she just sat beside the Alpha no one dared to bother of an evening. She takes a seat and feels an instant attraction, putting it down the heat she ignored it. Until her mind is overcome by alcohol and friendly talk between the two. Judd walks over to her room, tempted to run his teeth down her neck and mark what is his but fights his wolf off. His One Powerful Mate (Rewriting) by CLDorner

Hi Readers, Before you read this book, I just wanted to say that I am currently in the process of rewriting this story. Changes, whether they are big or small will be applied and things will most likely be cut. I am looking towards making this story more consistent since its not evident in the first draft. I hope that you will continue to support this story nevertheless of the changes made. Kindest Regards, Christine *** Prologue "She's here! We've found her!" The girls parents came racing over to the river bank that separated the two werewolf packs. "She's not breathing! Why isn't she breathing?!" The man pushed the woman out of the way gently and leaned down to check the young girls breathing. He put one hand on the girl's chest and started compression. He checked the girl's breathing again and continued with compression. The girls started to cough up river water. The man pulled her swiftly to her side so that she could expel the rest of the water out through her mouth. "Oh, honey!" the woman gathered the girl up in her arms and squeezed. The girl looked around disorientated. There were strange men and men from her own pack standing around her. "What happened?" She murmured. The woman looked down at her daughter with tears flowing down her face. "You nearly died." *** *Check out the rest of the prologue for more* #1 HigherPower #1 EpicBattles 2# Flames 2# PackMates 36# Power Copyright © All Rights Reserved 2020 NeoNixButterfly21/Christine Copyright © All Rights Reserved 2021 NeoNixButterfly21/Christine Copyright © All Rights Reserved 2022 NeoNixButterfly21/Christine ~ All chapters hereafter are protected by copyright. (Book 1 in the 'Blood Drops' series) Five drops for the vampires who drink it. Four for the creatures who relish in it. Three for the strong who take it. Two for the weak who cower from it. One for the humans from whom it is taken. *** This book, along with all the others in this series, was written in a manic creative frenzy when I was about 11-12 years old. I do not consider it quality work, nor do I find it representative of my writing skills today. I will not take it down, because it is still fairly popular and I enjoy reflecting upon how I have developed my writing over the years. All I ask is that if you choose to read the book(s), please take into consideration that this was written by a tween many years ago, and that I am not the same person (or writer) as I was then. Thank you. *** 16 year old Felicia Winters had a life no one would be proud to call their own. No friends and a dysfunctional family; she had been bullied for most of her life. Until the day when she was captured by vampires, and sold to their prince, Braith. As a mysterious bond forms between them, they both deny it and refuse each other. But as Felicia drifts further and further from him, a rift begins to form within Braith, putting him and his entire kingdom- in fact, the whole world- at risk. But will she be able to love the man who has abused her so much? Or has she already found another love? And as a werewolf rebellion brews in the shadows, they are running out of time. Soon there will only be rubble left to rule over. Will Felicia be able to bring peace to the world, or will the kingdom crumble? For just one drop is never enough. Thanks for your votes and comments, they mean the world to me. Please help me with constructive criticism if you can! (Also, I suck at summaries, so sorry about that). Sequel 'Two More Drops' up now! Final edition 'Three Drops Final' up! Cover by @-nightfalls
