At Erevale Academy, everyone is born with a Shadowbound - a sentient reflection of one's soul that takes human form and fights alongside its master. A person can summon only one shadow for life.
Except for Lyra Veyne.
On her first day at Erevale, the impossible happens - three shadows appear before thousands of students, each with their own personality and will. Some call her blessed, others curse her as cursed. Her powers defy the ancient Laws of Shadowcraft, threatening the balance between light and void.
Each of her shadows acts on its own:
Riven - Fierce, arrogant, reckless; constantly challenges her but fiercely protective.
Solin - Calm, wise, almost melancholic; acts like her guardian and often appears when she sleeps.
Astra - Mischievous and witty; unpredictable, but deeply loyal to Lyra.
As Lyra navigates her college life - power classes, combat trials, and the politics of the Shadow Council - she'll uncover secrets buried since the dawn of Erevale itself. Her existence isn't a mistake. It's a prophecy.
And her shadows?
They were never meant to serve her...
They were meant to choose her.
