This Fanfic Follows The Story Of Genji, A Former Member Of The Tribe Of The Benders, A Group Of Humans With The Ability To Bend The 4 Main Elements At Will, And Is The Current Incarnation Of The Avatar. Genji Was Born 27 Years Ago, In 1497, To A Group Who Were Known As Benders, People With The Innate Ability To Control One Of The 4 Elements Of Fire, Water, Earth, And Air, The The Avatar Being The Only One Who Had The Power To Manipulate All Four Elements. He Lived A Happy And Quite Life With His Family, And Even Into His Adulthood, Until It Was Revealed That He Was The New Avatar, At The Age Of 18, As Someone Else Had Been Mistaken For The Avatar. As The Avatar, Genji Would Be Overwhelmed At The Massive Responsibilities That Came With Being The Avatar, And One Night Decided To Run Away, But Before He Could Leave, The Island Would Be Attacked By The Marine's Which Resulted In A Buster Call, Destroying The Island, But Not Before Genji Managed To Escape And Flee. A Few Days After He Fled, He Became Stranded At Sea, But Not Before Being Saved By Edward Newgate, Whitebeard, Of The Whitebeard Pirates, And Was Offered To Join The Crew, But Declined And Instead Opted To Act As A Shipwright For The Whitebeard Pirates For Some Time, Until He Left On His Own. When Genji Was 25 Years Old, In 1522 He Would Meet Monkey D. Luffy, The Grandson Of Monkey D. Garp, And Join His Pirate Crew, The Straw Hats, Along With Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, And Tony Tony Chopper (And Later Nico Robin, Franky, Brook, Jinbe, And Nefertari Vivi (Formally), To Help Luffy Become King Of The Pirates.
