once upon a time, a demon and an angel fell in love. the angel fell from its grace, and the demon lost its power. and that is the heart of love, for it is a sacrificial object. we may gasp at it and claw at it but it will always put up the greater fight. and in the end, love will consume who we are and want we want.

When he dismissed the woman again, the woman's appearance changed only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. Sean begged for forgiveness but it was to late, for the enchantress has only seen selfishness in Sean's heart. As punishment, she turned him into a hideous demon and placed a spell on the castle and all who lived there. As days lead into years, Sean and his servants were forgotten by the world for the enchantress erased all memory of them. And the rose the enchantress gave Sean was truly a enchanted rose. If he could learn to love another, (a male or female), and earn their love in return before the last petal falls, the curse will be broken. If not, Sean will remain a demon, for all time.
