Everyone talks about healing, but no one really talks about what it takes to get there, or even how you got there in the first place.
To heal, you have to be broken.
And to be broken, you have to BE broken. To feel everything you tried to forget.
My writing isn't based on perfection, but solely about me growing up in chaos. A girl at just 16 years old learning to love herself through all her flaws after being broke down by the people she loves, and that were supposed to protect her. From family addictions, eating disorders, and favoritism, to the pain of not feeling like she was enough. She learns that healing isn't beautiful.
Until it is.
This book. My writing. My words. And what I've been through so far is for the ones still trying to find peace inside their storm. Their pain.
