Set years before the events of Avatar: The Way of Water, Children of the Tides follows the early lives of the Metkayina clan's young hearts - Tsarae, Tsireya, Aonung, Roxto, and Tzika - as they grow up among the sparkling reefs of their island home.
Born under a moonlit ocean, Tsarae and Tsireya are the first Na'vi twins ever known to their people - a blessing that both amazes and unsettles the clan. Guided by their parents, Tonowari and Ronal, the twins grow alongside their protective brother Aonung, their loyal friend Roxto, and Tzika, a once-kind girl whose envy slowly turns her heart cold.
As they learn the ways of the sea - swimming with ilu, exploring coral caverns, and daring the open waters - they begin to discover who they truly are. Tsarae's bold spirit often draws trouble, while Tsireya's calm heart brings peace, but their bond as sisters faces its first storms.
Friendship, rivalry, and destiny swirl together like the tides, shaping the children into the people they will one day become - before the world beyond the reef changes everything.
