Zuko Agni transfers to Ba Sing Se University hoping for a quiet semester - no chaos, no drama, no fire alarms.
Instead, he gets Sokka Hakoda: an engineering major, snack enthusiast, and human hurricane who thinks "organization" is a myth.
Between glitter explosions, 3 a.m. tea talks, and a growing pile of inside jokes, Zuko starts to realize that sharing a dorm might mean sharing something deeper than just floor space.

To gain intel on the Fire Nation, Sokka joins the army. However, after "defeating a monster" all on his own (Appa), he's given the opportunity to become a palace guard. And though it's risky, he jumps at the opportunity. But he doesn't expect Zuko to be there, and he also doesn't expect him to not recognize him and he also doesn't expect Zuko to take a strange liking to him. _ Conflicted and lonely, Zuko spends his days in the palace with only his sister and her friends to talk to. It may take some time for him to realize it, but Zuko enlists Sokka to help with another redemption arc for the Fire Nation. Working together, learning together, loving toge- who said anything about that?! Wait, are there feeling here? Feelings can't get in the way of the mission...world peace is at stake! (Also, how I want to envision the bridge between ALTA and LoK to be established. All it takes is some gayyy) "It's the meeting with the other nations. They all think I have all the answers!" Zuko threw up his arms in aggravation. "I don't know what I'm doing!?" He slumped down onto the foot of Sokka's bed, holding his face in his hands.
