What happens when a teenage girl who has spent her whole life doing what was right begins to question herself and everything she has stood for?
Olivia has always done everything right.
She never misses sunday school. She attended no parties. No short skirts. No boys.
She's the daughter her parents - pastor and Mrs Lane are proud of - and the girl who never questions God's plan.
Well, her only flaw is the tiny little crush she has on Desmond Peter, her class most popular boy and she had swore she would never act on it. But everything begins to shift the summer before senior year, when her cousin Zara flies in from New York. Zara is bold, fearless, and living the kind of life Olivia has only watched from a distance. Crop tops. Night sneaks. Late-night laughter. Flirting. Freedom.
