What would you do if you were cornered by someone who was like you and wanted to guide you out of your struggles in exchange for your help? Follow not-so-ordinary Mortimer Toynbee as he navigates a whole world of meeting others like himself. He will face challenges and will be forced to overcome them if he wants to survive. But how can he when others can't even accept him as human? When all anyone can see is him as just some disgusting no-good toad.
Disclaimer: I do not own anything that has to do with Marvel or anything else Marvel-related.
Also, this is going to be heavily influenced by X-Men Evolution, since it's my favorite X-Men series, and the way they depicted Toad's character made me truly fall in love with him.

I'm 20 years old, and I am in possession of the most powerful alien weapons, in the universe. When I was little, people like Bakugo and Issei picked on me everyday, just because I was too powerless to do anything. So one day, I decided to drop out of Union Academy and went on a cross country road trip with my grandpa and cousin. Then on our first stop, I went out on a walk where a meteor fell out of the sky and crashed right in front of me. But, as it turns out, it wasn't a meteor, but a pod containing a watch that, once stuck upon your wrist, could turn you into any alien you want. Needless to say that my life went uphill from there. I traveled across the galaxy, saved it from blowing up. Fought a giant alien, AS a giant alien. Stopped a race from destroying the universe. Blew up my watch. Got a new one. Dated a tennis player, and broke up with her. Fought a giant alien, as a giant alien AGAIN, this time in Tokyo. Killed an interdimensional demon along with my archnemesis. And made friends with a Slimebiote named Skurd. Now me and my friends are unlicensed heroes who defend the world from destruction. Mainly because it's the right thing to do, but partially to show Union Academy what kind of hero I am now. And I can't wait to see the look on their faces." This may be the first fanfic that's about the monster from the reverse-horror game called Carrion! Let's see how it goes! All art, videos, music, etc. belong to their original owners. Also, I won't be using anything the game trailers showed us. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After butchering and consuming everyone in that underground laboratory and escaping under the guise of a human, you went into hiding in society. Switching between appearances to stay hidden along with eating people that no one would miss, especially criminals. You'd sometimes eat some grimm too. What happened to you is that you were born as a bizarre pile of biomass created by nature's natural selection. When some humans made contact with you years later, you immediately infected and possessed one of them and began to evolve rapidly. It was then you developed a personality and can think like an intelligent species. All before being captured, experimented on, and then escaping not long after. Luckily for the world, you aren't super bloodthirsty or a complete psychopath. Your personality is that of someone humble and wanting peace. Just like how mother nature is and must be respected as so. Speaking of the world, you figure out that the world you reside in now is called Remnant. Compared to the laboratory below, the outside world is much worse with the Grimm and humans fighting each other. But it is also the world where you will actually find your place in these harsh lands of savage beasts and advanced weaponry. Along with those whom you will reside alongside with. And if anyone wishes to take them from you, they will know the color of death from within. You are the monster. You are the parasite. You are... Carrion This is your story.

[PART 1 IS COMPLETE! PART 2 HAS BEEN CANCELLED!] As a child, y/n always heard voices. And rarely, he swears he saw someone. He was abused by his father and siblings. Sometimes his uncles and cousins did as well but for unknown reasons. He never got help from his mother or aunts as they went missing years ago. He never understood why he was mistreated. When he went to Beacon, he thought that it was all over. But as he had terrible luck as usual, he was wrong. He was bullied by most of the students including team CRDL since he was the weakest student in the whole school. His siblings were there was well, making his situation even worse. He thought out help from the teachers, but they wouldn't help at all, they would usually either telling him to get stronger or go home. One day, Ozpin sent him off on a mission to collect something that he wasn't told of. When he does, it was all a trap by an unknown group. As he's kidnapped, he finds something very old and he becomes someone else completely; an Assassin. He'll soon understand the world more and the words that he always heard but never understood will finally make sense: "Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true. Where other men are limited by morality or law, Remember, everything is permitted. We work in the dark to serve the light. We are assassins." Key factors about this story: 1. Each sequence is the main story. 2. Lost sequences are stuff that either happened before or things that I forgot to add at some point, so they're cannon and probably are important to the story.
