Melancholy Melodies: From Family to Fantasy is my first ever poetry book. It has 3 parts (1. Them, 2. Him, 3. Her) "Them" is a compilation of poetries about my parents, my paternal grandma and my maternal grandpa, my librarian, and my childhood friend who became my bully in middle school. "Him" is a compilation of poetries about the guy who felt like home. "Her" is a compilation of poems about myself. The covers are edited by me on Canva, and the pictures are taken from Pinterest. My life is a series of thresholds that I overcome through poetry. In the world we are living in, everyone experiences love once; a true love. Our life is the same as a journey where people leave their stories behind, some bitter and some sweet. Some of them are lessons and some motivation. We learn about ourselves, our path, our desires, our happiness, our sadness and... our regrets. Like anyone else, we had a story in this journey of life. A story of friendship, a story of love, the story of a... Butterfly.
