Harua's brows creased in annoyance. This was his special day, he deserved a congratulatory wish from Yuma at least, a personal one, directed right at him, not just a generic chant part of a crowd. "I was looking forward to it" he mumbled.
Yuma placed the plate on the dish rack with more force than necessary. "Why? What difference would that make? Was Dad and Ms. Shigeta's wishes not enough for you?"
Harua seemed to stiffen behind him, suddenly at a loss for words. He wasn't sure how to respond to that.
A minute of silence stretched between them, and Yuma found himself melding into that silence. He held the plate stiffly, waiting for something to happen.
Suddenly, a shiver ran down his spine when a solid chest pressed against his back. Harua leaned over his shoulder, hair brushing against the side of Yuma's cheek. "I still want a present," he muttered.

When Seiji Komori, their father, sends them away to a "distant relatives" house while he goes abroad, things seem to take a slow twist. With the brothers either being confused or intrigued with the younger's odd behavior, his past threatens to be revealed. Habiki never saw it coming. Nor did anyone else.
