A Feather in the Storm (KNYxOC)

This is the story of a girl born in the mountains and raised by the wind, whose path leads from the icy solitude of vengeance to the searing warmth of comradeship and self-sacrifice.

Ayaka Yamadori's life began in an idyll-a small house in the mountains, among a family of herbalists who taught her the language of plants and silence. But this world was shattered when she was just five years old. A Demon, obsessed with finding the mythical "Moon Root," broke into their home and murdered her parents. Ayaka herself survived by hiding in the cellar, listening as her world died. The horror left one silvery-white streak in her dark hair. The next morning, orphaned and desolate, she was found by a retired Demon Slayer, the stern recluse Saitō-san.

For the next ten years, her home was a cold cave, and her family was her silent mentor. Saitō turned her life into continuous training, forging a deadly weapon from her grief and will. She grew up believing a simple truth: the world is divided into hunters and prey, and emotions are an unforgivable luxury that leads to death. At fifteen, after passing her master's final test, she descended the mountain to become a full-fledged Demon Slayer.
