One winter day, Jasper finds himself coming back to the very campsite that the death of his best friend, Lilith, happened in. He was convinced by his friends that it would be fine, but something doesn't feel like anymore. He feels almost pulled to the campgrounds, and now after waking up after some sleep, he finds himself in a whole different place with his friends. A cold, snowy forest with ruins and clearings scattered around. Only the tracks of unsean animals populate the snow. A nice camping trip might have just turned into a jouney for survival.

Life was so simple. So much more carefree and just generally free to do as you please and not have to worry about every little thing. Key word being 'was'.
