When their eccentric professor, Dr. Fields, assigns a Black History Month project, they're forced to work together - and accidentally uncover something far beyond research: a mysterious old VCR that literally sends them into the past.

Each trip drops them into a different moment in Black history - from the brutality of slavery to the brilliance of the Harlem Renaissance - forcing them to face truths about themselves, their ancestors, and each other.

What starts as a class project becomes a crash course in empathy, unity, and identity. Because to move forward, they'll have to understand the past - and decide who they want to be when they return.
