In leaving she found her mate, the love of her immortal life. She'd earned everything she wanted as human and in doing so was the happiest she'd ever been. Jasper Hale was the least in control of his blood lust, being an empath isn't all its let up to be, especially when you live in a house full of hungry vampires.
