Wildcat: The Instinct Code

They thought Hydra just experimented on him.
They were wrong.

Before the fall from the train. Before the brainwashing. Before the memory loss.
James Buchanan Barnes was already broken.

Hydra didn't just test on him they coded him.
A hidden instinct buried deep inside his nervous system. Something that awakens whenever he feels fear, rage, or the instinct to protect. A defense mechanism turned weapon something the world would later know as The Winter Soldier.

But Bucky doesn't know that. Not yet.

All he knows is that sometimes he loses time.
That sometimes, when Steve's in danger, something takes over something cold, fast, and merciless.
Something Hydra left behind.

And as the lines between man and monster start to blur, Bucky must fight to hold on to what's left of his humanity... before he becomes the very thing Hydra always wanted him to be.
