Right when Misa had finally grown content in the quiet rhythm of her new life, the universe drops an annoyingly handsome and definitely unhinged royal on her (literally). Suddenly, her carefully hidden identity and mildly-boring little life is threatened by a nuisance that refuses to accept the concept of personal space and has a vested interest in dragging her to all sorts of trouble. It doesn't help that her feelings go haywire around him or that he has a weird obsession with her heartbeat (def a weirdo).
But life definitely feels warmer and brighter ever since the vexing presence had burrowed its way in. Maybe...just maybe, it's not so bad afterall?

the title is long, I know, but the story itself is a short little ball of fluff because I love fluff. (there's also mature stuff being talked about but it's mostly just fluff. I don't write smut. at least not anymore-- I'm talking to you, 13-year-old me. put down that pen! You little pervert!) this is a story about communication, mental health, maturity, sex (education, kinda) and a cute couple (IMO). it won't be long and it won't have as many characters as my other stories but it will be the most vulnerable piece of writing I'll ever share with a bunch of strangers online.
