Alone. A word to describe loneliness, being by one's self, no one to lean on. Friend. A person who you rely on, one you can trust, one you would take a bullet for.
Eve had one of those, a friend. But what was she to do when her best friend Nary was considered a threat and taken away? Only something a true friend would do, go after her.
On her journey, Eve finds out the guy of her dreams, Gav, has been through the same thing. Along with an Okali named Yani, a survivor of the treacherous Deuld, try and find out what's going on.
She needs to find the others, Nary and most importantly herself.
