Basically the main character, Dylan, has severe mental issues, he is suicidal, has several disorders but he refuses to get help and pretends everythings okay and because I felt like it, a closeted gay. He goes to a party and meets Ray who comforts him after Dylan's girlfriend breaks up with him. Throughout the book Ray finds out about everything bothering Dylan and tries to help him through it, cooking for him to help with his anorexia, helping calm him down during breakdowns. Eventually Ray convinces Dylan to see a counselor and psychiatrist where Dylan finally begins getting the help he needed. During a breakdown although Dylan gets admitted to a mental hospital where he becomes so much healthier and when he's out he's ready to accept everything and confesses to Ray.

This is a brief backstory of my original character, who is mentioned in the novel *Broken Borders (BL)*. Please note that this story includes sensitive topics such as gore, murder, underage marriage, mentions of miscarriages, and homophobia. Due to the mature content, I recommend it for readers aged 13 and up. Be sure to check out the full book on my friend's account-they're currently writing the rest! I hope you all enjoy!
