If I may, can I ask a question?

Are all humans equal?

As a wise man once said, "Heaven does not create one person above or below another." People like to throw these words around. That's not the whole quote. It goes on to talk about how, at birth everyone is equal, but things like effort and situation change their value.

However, this quote was said before Affinities came into existence.

Now, the simple answer is no.

Equality ended the moment Affinities appeared.

The rarer your Affinity, the higher your worth.

The hierarchy was never about effort. It was about what you happened to be born with.

Some people train their whole lives and could never hope to destroy a building. Others open their eyes and reality bends around them.

So, are all humans equal?

Maybe at birth. But the world seems to disagree the second your Affinity is revealed.

I am not Kinu therefore I do not own any of the characters used in this story unless I introduce an OC which is not in the plans.

Timeline ->After Volume 3 (Island Exam) In the wake of the island examination, Advanced Nurturing High School implements a novel assessment to evaluate the strategic thinking and psychological insight of its first-year students. Unlike the traditional Year 1 Volume 4 exam, this new test revolves around a six-sided die, reflecting the intricate dynamics among the 160 students. At its core, the exam spotlights six prominent individuals, each associated with one face of the die. One (1) - Represents initiation, autonomy, and leadership. It may also mean solitary and isolation. Two (2) - Highlights duality, partnership, and balance in decision-making. This student will have to choose a way from dual ways. Three (3) - Suggests creativity, expansion, and spiritual congruence, encouraging trust in intuition. Four (4) - Symbolizes stability, structure, and methodical progress toward goals. Five (5) - Embodies transformation, freedom, and adaptability, urging openness to change. Six (6) - Signifies harmony, responsibility, and nurturing, emphasizing self-care and concern for others. Each day, students receive curated memories offering clues to determine which number aligns with each of the six key figures. This process promotes collaborative discussion and analytical reasoning within each class. Guessing Sequence A daily subsidiary exam ranks classes from first to fourth, deciding the order in which they guess the identities of the six individuals: - 1st Place: First guess - 2nd Place: Second guess - 3rd Place: Third guess - 4th Place: Final guess Scoring System Correct guesses and errors lead to Cumulative Points (CP) adjustments: - Correct Guesses: 1st class: +15 CP 2nd class: +10 CP 3rd class: +5 CP 4th class: +0 CP - Incorrect Guesses: 1st class: 0 CP penalty 2nd class: -5 CP 3rd class: -10 CP 4th class: -15 CP [Novel mainly focuses on kouji, so material for reaction of other characters will entirely be non-canon (made by me basically)]
